Now that the silicone has dried nicely, give it a final light shake to remove any loose gravel. Carefully rinse the cave under the tap, and then submerge it into a sink or bucket of water. Let it sit for 24 hours, then dump all the water out.

 Let it soak for a few days
Repeat this for at least 3 days to clean it well before introducing into the aquarium. We used some water conditioner in the water on the last day to make sure there was not any harmful chemicals present. |
